Independance and self-awareness is an important part of our society, without it, people lose sight of who they genuinely are. Today’s society relies on people doing their duty to work together, like another cog in a machine. It is easy to find oneself feeling insignificant in terms of an independent person, and because of this, people have to actively find ways to keep ourselves occupied. Aldous Huxley was born July 26, 1984. His father was a scientist that helped to develop the theory of evolution. Science was obviously a large part of his life and was most likely a key source of inspiration for his book. Every embryo is developed to fit a certain criteria and perform specific tasks for the higher classes. Sin ce World State is developing everyone through a test tube it removes mothers and natural birth out of the equations. There is a distinct bond between a parent and their child, not only does this help the child grow into a mature adult but it also helps them develop the necessary skills required to work and interact with other people.
